Recommend a Summer Jacket for a Small Guy?

So I've maintained my low-weight mod with myself weighing in around 125-130lbs.  It means that jackets are almost never small enough for me unless I switch over to Ladies sizes... but then I get too much "jacket" in my face when I'm leaning over cause I don't have boobage to fill it out.

So what I'm looking for is any recommendations for a good (summer) jacket that runs in a size 42-44 in mens.  Any thoughts?  I've got a size 48 Dianese for the winter which works because I have layers underneath.  But yeah, for the summer I need something smaller.

Any help / thoughts would be much appreciated!

Dainese size 44 jackets are available.

Or...I don't get what you are asking? ???

He Man

how tall are you?

whats your chest size?

Only the top end brands carry sizes smaller than 38US/48EU and even then not everyone would carry them.

We're about the same weight. I'm 5'9". A* 48 fits tight (good), and sleeves are usually short but are fine with gauntlet  gloves. Dainese 48 fits perfect. Hope that helps. Being 5'9" I'd never get into a 44.
Remember to define the space you occupy

try the bmw gear, since you are taller  at 5'9" the smaller 36- 38 USA sizing will probably fit you very well. their siizing is a bit strange so be careful with that they use some sort of really kooky sizing system so ask a dealer to help you.

good luck.

As noted, look to the Euro manufacturers. You know Dainese already, Rev'It and  Aplinestars might have something for you.

Perhaps go cruise motowheels gear section. They have a large selection of Dainese stuffs. Or Revzilla for Rev'It wears.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I guess I don't understand your question, it's the bigger, fatter guys like me( 6'2", 220, fat+muscle) who have the problems finding good fitting, high quality gear. The higher end Euro gear is made for guys your size, especially the sport cut jackets. (Dainese, Alpinestars, Spidi and Rev'it to name a few).
Figure out your correct euro size and you should be able to order what ever you want on-line with confidence.  ;)

you can also just keep on wearing ladies jackets and just get implants to fill them out.  that way, you can ear extra cash by walking the streets in your local red light district.  btw, they're almost ready to approve breast implants filled with peanut oil instead of saline or silicone -- it's gonna be called implanters.

I feel ya. I'm 5'4, 120-130lbs. XS jackets are usually a little bit loose or cut kinda funny. I'll echo the previous posts and say go with euro sizes. I don't think I've ever seen a 36US but I have seen 46EU in A* and Dainese brands.

I'm in the same ball park 5'5" 120 ish.  I've been wearing Vanson stuff, 36-40 all fit depending on the jacket and what you're wearing under it.

Mr.Saturn

Speed and Strength make excellent fitting jackets at a good price.  At 5'4" it took me forever to find a jacket that fit really well.
