Really not sure if this has been mentioned here before or not. Sorry if it has, I must have missed it.

All you car gear heads, does anyone know anything about the Cars and Coffee monthly meet in Plano? I was just looking at wfaa.com and clicked on a pic link to this car show. They had 86 great pictures of some incredible cars of all flavors. I recognized the original silver 427 Cobra from another show I stumbled onto a few years ago at White Rock Lake. I was even telling my 13 year old step son about that Cobra just last week! Weird...

Anyway, the pic link says nothing about where in Plano it is. It just says it's the first Saturday of the month. You should check out the wfaa.com website and kill some time oogling at some awesome cars. It's obviously very popular, there were a ton of cool cars on display and the place looked really crowded with people. Neat stuff.

If you know details let the rest of us know. Looks like a good excuse to get up early on a Saturday, check out some pregnant dogin' hardware and go ride to a favorite breakfast spot. [thumbsup]

been mentioned before and is absolutely amazing, at least the last show this past Saturday.  probably in excess of 200 cars from Lambo's, TR6 Triumph's, original 67 Cobra & Jaguar just to mention a few.  No need to arrive at 8 anymore because the thing has grown so much that they loiter until around 11.

OK.... ah, where is it? From 8:00 to when again?

It's at the big BMW place (Classic?)

Getting there earlier is better. They had a Veyron this time, Porsche Carrera, Arial Atom, quite a few Italians and of course tons of old and new Mustangs and Camaros with cool wheels and stereos....

They had a beautiful Alfa 8C there too for the Italian fans (stock photo):

Also saw a 2-strokes Saab 96 rally car leaving, some great vintage British iron (MG's, Jags, Healy's) Definitely make the next one, it was very cool (if a bit crowded).  People were parkign in the office complex just north of the dealer (Tollway and Spring Creek)

Sounds fun.  I guess we should polish our Ducs and show up, huh?  Or do you think all the folks driving cars with names ending in "i" would feel threatened?   [moto]

Sounds like a perfect opportunity for some formation flying (I would say, "low-level  formation flying" but that's such a softball even Muskrat would be all over it...)   [cheeky]

As it starts winding down, the cars slowly start departing the exit towards the tollway.

A crowd starts forming around that exit and it turns into a cool car parade... [clap]

(we snuck out the backway...  I figured if something embarrassing was to happen, that would be the place... [cheeky])

It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.
