Excellent ride!  Very nice road selection and super nice folks - perfect day  [moto]  It was also nice to meet Mark - hope to see you on more of our rides soon.  And a big thanks to calscrazy; that's the first group Hico ride I've been on and I can see why it's such a favorite... Not sure how many miles but it was at least 3000 300  :o

I have no idea what you're talking about.  8)   Just couldn't stand being stuck behind that line of semi's anymore, especially with that tasty looking uphill sweeper coming up. I probably could have made the full distance but I figured I'd better cut in just to be on the safe side ("safe side" seems an ironic choice of words considering the maneuver  ;D)  My biggest error in judgment was thinking that scrubbing off about 70 mph of speed going downhill in that short space was going to be an easy thing. The bike could have handled a lot more braking force, but my tired body was close to limit.

I am one tired mofo. I'm going to sleep like a baby.

It was great to see everyone again and to meet Mark. No tickets, no get-offs; all in all a good day to be alive and riding.  [thumbsup]
