Heal quickly and I hope the ass hat that hit you gets whats coming to him.  Glad you had all the right gear on.  Get well soon.

As a new rider seeing all these people going down is starting to get me nervous.

So how are you doing the day after the crash? How's the pain level and what is the Doc giving you for your pain?

Im a new rider and I have been really cautious trying to avoid that first drop. It caught up with me though.

Bradha,
hope you heal quickly! I broke my clutch lever, too. But mine was nothing compared to yours. Best of luck and I hope you get back on the bike soon!

That sucks to hear man hope it all gets worked out for you.

You can never really know what the other guy/idiot will suddenly do - I just keep my distance as much as possible.

About the same time you're dragging your knees through a series of tight left-right-handers on Sunday afternoon, some guy in white shoes is sweating a 3-foot putt. Go figure.

I second that.  I'm not so much worried about dropping it anymore as I am of being hit.

I could easily see myself in your place.  Condolences,  dude.

That's pretty much my philosophy right there.  [thumbsup]

Sucks!!  Absolutely sucks!!!  Do everything you can to heal, take it easy (yeah, it's frustrating to let others help you), follow up with physical therapy (damn does that hurt , but you need the flexibility) and let the anger subside.  You've got enough to do, no use carrying that load.

THanks for saying something about the back protector.  I thought they were all alike, but another rider told me that in an accident her lung was punctured.  She told me that some back protectors only protect the spine, not really going far enough around the lungs to support them in an accident.  I never realized that, and am looking to get one for track days.  I'll look up the one you noted.  Thanks for thinking of others even though you're in pain!!

keep us updated!!
Frickin' snow!

2nd it all, carrying the load of Grr is what your insurance company is for.   ;)

glad you're still with us, and i think the best thing i've ever heard about traffic is: Never forget, those people are trying to kill you!
best of luck with recovery!
A red traffic light means:
  • Incoming missiles
  • Stop
  • You win! Speed through the intersection to claim your reward!

three words... LAWYER... LAWYER... LAWYER. It makes a difference. don't sign anything without running it by someone who knows what they are talking about. If there is a moto or PI lawyer on the board... we should set up an accident forum. just simple consultation. but most PI lawyers work for free... they just get a cut of the settlement... nothing to lose. but more importantly... get well. see you on the road soon.
