im having trouble starting my 2000 750.
all that happens is the starter will click but the engine wont turn over at all.
does this just sound like a dead battery?

yep, but it could also be just the kill switch. I know from experience

Could also be a bad starter relay. In front of the battery under the rear of the tank. I would check that first.

alright ill try and check that.

i just went out and turned it on to see if the light comes on also and it does but it seems pretty dim.

Low battery.  Charge and load test .
