i should be good to go to ride over on saturday if the weather cooperates... though i'm hoping to be over at the rink by 7.  bryna got some more details about saturday at her practice last night (along with some killer blisters...).  beer is definitely welcome as long as it's not in glass... chairs are recommended unless you like standing since seating is pretty scarce.  will-call tickets are available starting around 5:30; tickets are still available at the door for $15 as long as they're not sold out.

bryna was saying that previous bouts have been pretty packed, so i may come even earlier actually... she said the girls told her that the will call should open around 5:30 but to get there about 6 if i can.  so, worst case i'll just see you guys over there... don't forget your beer!  

 Wish I could show up to peek through my fingers - this does seem like throwing a rosebud into a blender & our rosebud better have the best damn protective gear $ can obtain's all I'm sayin'. Wish her much luck, since she's tall tell her to stay compact, & above all kick some  beast2baxing ass!


This totally sounds like a Kodak moment - hope you get some great shots, maybe another match I can shoot too?

That was fun!  Once you star to get the rules down
the strategy of the sport reveals itself. I've gt to
see more of this. The second match with the "pro"
teams was serious stuff. Bumping the lead jammer
out of bounds and she cannot enter ahead of the bumper.
So the bumper slows down to slow the scoring skater.

Also it was good to see Will again and Bryant, Bryna and
Rich too. Thanks for posting this up McKraut

We definitely have to do this again! Way too much entertainment potential to pass up IMHO. Fishnets, speed, violence, BYOB... what more could you ask for I ask you. We'll have to get there earlier next time to set up the pyramid of beer cans as a target for the girls to aim for.

I want to go to, just couldn't last night.  Be fun to take a real camera - but even in the IZ_ iPhone photos you can tell  Bryna is the flower among the thorns - just sayin' !   Glad it was fun.... and no one got hurt?

i had a great time; thanks to dan, will, and bryant for coming along to make it even more fun.  i knew ahead of time that i would enjoy girls in short skirts and tight shorts in fishnets on rollerskates crashing into each other while i drank beer (though you can bring liquor or box wine also!!   ), but it exceeded my expectations nicely.    and as a note for future games, the girls (even from the opposing league) do make it over to lee harvey's, rain or shine, if anyone is interested in hanging out afterwards.  and we found out the keep the kitchen open late just for us  

next bout is May 15th (saturday) if anyone is wanting to check it out.

i took only a handful of pics, and they're all horrible... next time i'll try to grab my p&s
