You cannot argue with crazy because crazy is not willing to be convinced. Hell, it's not even willing to listen to the arguments.

Well guys, thanks for thinking of me:)

The class went really well...but I didn't pass the test. I talked to the instructor after the first day and he told me I had nothing to worry about I was doing great and would pass no problem. After I took the test, he told me it was a fluke that I didn't pass and he gave me a referral to take the 4 hour retest course through MSF instead of having to go to the DMV.

Pretty big confidence killer there...but I won't be giving up anytime soon.  [thumbsup]

Sorry to hear that. Did you try :'(?

When Ti took the class she said that a few people didn't pass. The instructor told them all to ride some and get more comfortable. She didn't get why the people that didn't pass didn't. Just sign up for the retest and ride.

Remember you can ride any motorcycle of mine, anytime!

No, no  :'( Thought about it though;)

The two people in front of me failed also, one of them dropped the bike. I was told by the instructor that giving me the referral card wasn't something they do a lot, he told the people ahead of me to go buy Ninjas and take the test at the DMV after more practice. He made me feel a little better:)

Mine was a combination of little stuff...putting my foot down on the u-turn, locking up the rear wheel on the quick stop, and entering the turn too hot (according to the instructor). I believe him when he told me he didn't realize I had failed until he added up the points...it was still a good learning experience and definitely worth the time and $.

Sorry to hear that, Amber.  I'm sure you'll pass next time.

In the meantime, it just means no freeways, no nighttime, and no carrying Jake on the back, right? :)

Thanks Andy:) I know Jake is pretty bummed he won't be riding cupcake anytime soon...unless Mo offers;)

I hate the u-turn part of there test.  I think it's way too tight and not practical.  No one has to do a u-turn that tight.  You can always just walk your bike backwards a few steps.
Don't look at this.

The u-turn sucked...especially having to do a figure 8 in such a tight box. Bummer.

I am planning on signing up for the skills retest and taking another few hours of class, as opposed to just going to the DMV to try again. The only bummer is the first retest isn't until May 21.

Mark- I kind of agree with you...good to know how to do it of course, I'm definitely not arguing that! But, like I was told by the instructor, it really shouldn't be that big of a deal to put your foot down as long as you can still do it:(

And thanks Gabe:)
