wife and I didn't feel to cheery this morning so we skipped Muenster (more like I did) but we decided to opt out for a Barca Lounger ride and she fell asleep on the back of the bike. 

Wear armor!! Went to work and got my boots. The right one did its job
The jacket saved the elbow from surely to-the-bone damage.
I'm getting pants soon, jeans are not good enough

amen... i recently picked up some nice Sidis, and i use these along with under the jeans, inserted into the top of the boots:

I wear those exact knee/shin guards.    I think they were about $20 at CycleGear.  ...and Diamond Gusset "Defender" jeans with Kevlar in the important spots: http://www.gussetclothing.com/dmk.html.  I'm hoping I never have to test them, but they are pretty comfy.    I took a spill several months back and also learned that regular jeans just don't hold up well.

I wear these with my Draggin' Jeans, if I wear jeans. They'd fit better it I had skinnier legs. The last time I fell, I tried to put the shock preload adjuster through my calf. I wish I had had these on. It made me believe in wearing the most protection I can.
