One of the women I work with is into roller derby.  Apparently it is teh awesome as everyone else at work has been and they can't wait to go again.  So I want to go and it's the weekend right before my b-day.  I highly suggest getting there early and buying your tickets online.  They sold out at the door last time!

Cool...hope to see a few folks I know there other than the co-workers.  It just cracks me up that a bunch of architects are going to women's roller derby on a regular basis.

OK, tickets bought. Jackie and I are there.

Our team's colors are army green, and more army green.  Don't wear blue/white--that's the opposing team's colors.  My co-worker's boyfriend might be the mascot, which happens to be a glow-in-the-dark unicorn.  It's just random...the guy apparently got threatened physically by some big dude from the visiting team's side.

Hope Ft. Mason Pavillion has better ventilation. I saw teh roller derby at Kezar and it was as warm and smelly as a porta potty after someone just dropped a deuce.

Well, I spend a lot of time at Zeitgeist where it doesn't smell like a port-a-potty; you're actually smelling the port-a-potty.  My standards are pretty low and I'm probably going to have a couple of beers on board.  No biggie.
