This is not slander bu commentary.  If I had the money I'd own evr duc except for the half tard.  Like I mentioned I drank the cool aid long ago bt seriously they need to clean up their act and quit holding dealers and owners hostage sometimes.

Nah, its just that every comment is laced with a negative. Example:"Oh great bike, but its the wrong color". I'm just bustin' your chops about it.

But just for you, sweetums, we are putting two boards up in the shop.

1) PUT UP OR SHUT UP - Ducati Open class, fastest combined cw and ccw lap times at MSR-Cresson. Any bike, any mods, etc.

2) MONSTER CUP CHALLENGE Must be a "Monster", fastest combined cw and ccw lap times at MSR-Cresson. Jury is out whether SF will be considered a Monster for purposes of this event, as it is the latest water-cooled Monster.

People interested in seeing where they stack up against others are welcome to run laps with a transponder during our track days (First up: Monday, June 7th).  Top 10 will be listed, ranked, on the boards.

I can't participate, I am trading my Monster for an R1 [popcorn]

Would be fun to see what kind of times we run.  You guys doing this all year?

I'll pass. I have nothing to brag about and besides I have enough people pointing and laughing at me already. No room for any more right now. ;D

the boards will be up for as long as we can participate in good humor. Planning to can it if/when people take it too seriously.

I never thought I'd say this but I think I agree on the track bragging rights.  I've said it before, until I get a "dedicated" track bike I'm staying off.

I can participate in the cleanest bike contest though  [moto]

You're the one claiming to be fast on your S4R. Hence the Monster Board. You're quick to point out you were leading on a road I'd not ridden before, but now back out from an opportunity to go fast in a safe environment? Sounds like you're going to have to quit saying you are quick on some public road, or you're going to have to take those comments and back them up on the track on your Monster and see how you'd fair against an older, less powerful Monster.  Its all in fun - no need to ride 10/10ths to see if its close.

I said my bike is faster.  As an Attorney in training you should know better and listen carefully  [leo]
I'm no speed demon and like it that way too, maybe too much Harley riding I guess but I could care less to be timed on a track....just me but my speed freak days are long gone.  You should see the bikes I previously tore to pieces in my "can't get hurt" days.
And lastly, I'm slow but enjoy my riding and yes I did lead you on that road.  You obviously took it to heart.  :P

you seem to be selectively remembering that conversation in your favor.

Marty and I pointed out that you were a 4V guy riding with a bunch of 2Vs, and you got quite defensive that we were insinuating that you had to ride with less powerful bikes to feel superior. Here, your defense extends additional credibility to my version of the facts. :D

The Monster Cup board is for fun. We're on Monsters with poor weight distribution. Frequently on less than Super Corsas. Many without clipons or a way to keep from sliding up on the tank under hard braking. The board is just for seeing how one would measure up, if at all, on the track.

If you don't want to do it, no harm no foul. But any fishing stories about how fast you might be, or how fast you used to be are moot.
