That would be a nice addition to your stable... [thumbsup]

Not even close to thinking about a third bike. I will barely have room for what I have now and will most likely be selling/donating/throwing away a lot of things once my HHG get here due to a MUCH smaller flat.

Brutale

Sold the SC1000 today.  Im sure some of you saw that coming after my struggle with South Seas and DNA for the last 5 months.  I've lost confidence in Ducati and will not be buying another one until they go back to a non-plastic tank.  Thinking of which, what was the last year that the Monsters came with a metal or aluminum tank?  Luckily I was able to sell it for what I wanted (much higher than blue book and NADA), so maybe I'll start looking for a lightly used S4R.   I'll still be hanging out here on the board and Im sure I'll see you guys down at Jamba Juice.

DAMN dude!  Who did you sell it to?

You know, the new 1198S Corse has an alloy tank.   ;D

Brutale

Sold it to some joker on Maui.  It will be totaled in a months time sad to say.  He just got his license back after having it revoked for a DUI on his last bike......  What can I say, cash talks!

Jebus,

Remember I'm in Panama, my monthly salary is $400.00gross/$96.00net[after mortage]... So, am I being a cheapie?

Sorry dude, I figured the smiley made it obvious that I was joking.  Perhaps I should think more before I act, but then I wouldn't be me!

DIY is always appreciated  [thumbsup]

I got the smiley Jebus, just that, I'm usually a 'bad houseman' when a kid, my dad used to do almost everything and since it appears I was more of a 'stone in the shoe' that any help, I was usually kept in the dark about these shores.

So now, everytime I can, I jump and do it, unless it turns bad, no 'proffesional' is called ...

But, yes, we should support our local economies ...

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

2006 was the last year of the metal tanks, at least on the Superbikes. It might have been the first year of plastic tanks on Monsters but 2007 covered the whole range I believe. And yes! A low mileage, cared for S4R would be great fun!
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

There was that one guy that I met who was talking about selling his S4.  It had the 916 engine, and not too many miles on it.  I've since seen him coming on going out on Ford Island.  You might want to keep an eye out for it...
