Check this out, my Brother sent me a surprise gift. [thumbsup] I guess he has had it for a while and when I bought the Monster he sent it to me.  It's a pretty sweet patch, in great shape, about 12-13in long.

Anyone have an idea how old this is?

EDIT:  Just to be clear, NO, I am not selling it.  Just wondering how old it is, where it came from, what it was for, etc...

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

[laugh] Funny...

Seriously though, is it not something that Ducati had made and really just some unlicensed knock-off?

The eagle to Ducati represented "Speed & Precision" the Eagle represented the Single bevels as could be seen on most singles particulary the MK1 on the tank ,used until 1967.This patch you have is called eagle perched on the I. It is indeed a knock off, as the real moto patch was represented in another way, however its a very nice patch ,quite large & perfect for the windbraker jacket.
