I know those roads...  I'm thinking about going somewhere I have never been.  Like pack a bike and find some new twisties in CO, or UT, or Canada, or ?!?

I need more hobbies.  Sitting at home is boring.  I can only read so much in one day.  Even Netflix is getting old.

Off to have more coffee.

Just to a new place...still in Buffalo.

Sort of...we're actually moving to the burbs.   :P

It is a single family house and a detached garage with an attached studio for our office.

Should be a better situation.

Sounds awesome DD!  Moving isn't fun, but sounds like it'll be a great place!

Evening from Charleston folks.  Time for happy hour and some eats!

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

IT wasn't at the beginning. ;D

Ok...

I'll spill.

I started working with my buddy on the finish at the house we framed interior partitions and built the garage last year.

We're running v-groove on a cathedral ceiling.

Heights are not my thing...

so...

I'm down by the wall on the staging and hanging off and holding on all at the same time and managed to put a galvy finish nail into my finger on the back side of a board.

It seems to have gone into the middle of the joint rather than glancing off the bone so it really hurts more on the top of my finger than at the entry point. It's pretty swollen.

This afternoon we were expanding the turkey's horizons and I managed to stick a cut piece of rusty chicken wire into the back of my wrist. It just so happened to pierce one of the veins that runs up there. It blew up like a balloon instantly so I ran in the house and held pressure and ran cold water over it.

I hadn't had a tetanus shot in the past ten years...so I struck off for the walk in at the hospital.

If I hurt myself again I want to aim for my legs....my arms are all set. ;)

Sounds like one of them days...  At least you didn't have to dig around for the head of the nail to pull it out.
