We don't do politics...gun politics...fishing politics...doesn't matter.

Does that answer your question?

what about the politics of breast implants?...LOL...J/K

on a different note...to bridge the 2 discussions ( weapons and motorcycles, since it is a motorcycle forum).....if you were to mount a weapon on your moto, whether for defense or offense ( I guess you can think Mad Max/Road Warrior if you want ) what would you mount and how or why?

Don't know what you have on it now, but on the factory stock there are two phillips head screws "buried" in the cushion pad of the stock. One at the top and one at the bottom. You may have to look hard to see the hole marks on the cushion pad. Remove those to remove the pad. The stock is hollow inside and there is a slotted screw that needs to be loosened in order for the stock to be removed. Reverse order is how it installs.

I have no idea what's on it now. But the back of the receiver (where the stock fits) has a theaded nut attached. Whatever stock you are using (factory stock or not) attaches to that threaded nut. May be a bolt or a screw but it attaches the same way.

The two pins in the receiver shouldn't have anything to do with your stock. But then again I don't know what stock you have on it. Those hold in the trigger assembly. I remove those when cleaning the gun and they are replaced with long screws to hold on a Side Saddle receiver mounted shell holder.

I'm thinking old west scabbard with a side by side "stage coach" shotgun. Maybe mounted along the forks. But I'm right handed so couldn't work the throttle and shoot at the same time. Guess I have to go weak hand. Either that or a Dillon Aero/M134 mini gun on the top triple clamps. I need to call Christian at SpeedyMoto and see if they can whip me up a mount for my bar risers! Oh yeah, I know how the stock one installs. It has a big ass bolt with a hex head you screw into the gun. Got that covered. Then put the little pad back on and we are good to go.

I have an M4 retractable stock on it now, just need to remember how I installed the make the beast with two backsing thing!

Any pics of it? I know they exist, just don't have any on my scatterguns.

I remember when I installed it I did have to disassemble the firearm as the stock slid into the receiver and it required a few screws to bolt it on.

I'll take some pics later of it.

I think I need to get the top "cover" off to access that area of the gun.

B,

Here's a close up picture of the shotgun's ass end. As I said above, want to get the M4 buttstock removed. Two back pins are already out.

Sorry for the shitty blackberry 3.2mp pictures, I can't find my digital camera. The wife hid it somewhere.

The buttstock is one complete unit.

Can't really see how it attaches in those pics other than it some how bolts/screws up to the back of the receiver in a similar fashion to the original stock. Do you remember it having any other attachment points other than that? I pulled up Cheaper Than Dirt's website and clicked on shotgun stocks and looked at what they had to offer. Read a few customer reviews of what they sell but none of them gave an exact description of install/removal. Although it's not the same brand as yours they either said it took 2 minutes to swap stocks/super easy or it was a total pain in the ass and they had to spend hours filing and grinding on it. It seemed to be a universal fit collapsable stock and mounted up fine on some brands but not so great on others. They also complained that the top of the stock blocked your ability to see the front bead sight. Not good. Yours doesn't look like it would interfere.

Anyway, none of that applies to yours. Let me know if it has another manner of attaching. Did you have to remove the two cross pins from the receiver? I can see better in the bottom pic and they look like they are not involved in the stock mount. I bet there is just some way to go through the ass of the stock and get to the retaining bolt/screw where it bolts up to the back of the receiver.

I think you are right on all points.

I can't remember if I attached the stock from inside the gun or a big hex bolt like stock.

I think there may be a back port of entry..........(leave the jokes out)

Sweet. What caliber? P250s offer all sorts options, you can swap calibers and lower receiver/pistol grip size which is pretty neat. [thumbsup] Have fun with it... as if I have to tell you that. ;D

I got the Subcompact 9mm.  Having a PIA trying to find a good holster......

Almost got a Glock 26 but I like the size, trigger, capacity and changability of the Sig.

For $285 I can get a mid or full size kit in .40 etc etc......love that!

And the kits aren't MD regulated firearms, so they are cash and carry.
996 forks, BoomTubes, frame sliders, CRG bar-end mirrors, vizitech integrated tail light, rizoma front turn signals, rizoma grips, cycle cat multistrada clip ons, pantah belt covers - more to come

If anyone cares,  I got my M4 stock off and the original back on.

B was right, there was a hex head buried deep in the M$ stock. Had to remove rubber end and then use a really long hex head to unbolt it.

The only problem is I can't find the damn screws that hold that rubber end plate on  [bang]

I have it stuck in there and used some black electrical tape until I can source some replacements at the local hardware store.
