The b-day thread says it's Wednesday the 28th. Did I miss it, is the calender wrong?? Anyway, whether it's passed or in the future Happy Birthday!! Glad they keep on coming, it's hell when they stop!

yeah, it is the 28th, but the girlfriend decided to throw a little surprise thing for me over the weekend.  i really appreciate people showing up; i'm a pretty modest guy, and i'm not used to being the center of attention, so it means alot when people turn out just to buy me a beer (or capones or a giftcard  ) and hang out.  thanks again for making it a great time! (so much so that i don't remember much of how i got home and what exactly went on after getting home...

Happy day my friend. 

to celebrate i worked from home yesterday and had an appliance guy come look at my dishwasher who promptly located a wire that had come unplugged from a sensor.  that'll be $60...  oh and to tell me that the water needs to be much hotter coming into the kitchen..  so now i get to have a plumber come out, again.  i did get to take a bike out for a little bit... the 919, anyway.

Can you not just adjust the thermometer on your water heater? Or buy a dishwasher that takes a cold feed.
