^^ Speed limit in west Texas is 75 or 80.

It needs to be 175. Anything to shorten that drive up would help! I love TX but damn it takes a long time to get anywhere. But most of y'all probably don't give a shit and that is why this post fits in this thread so well.

Now that I think about contesting it in court...............you would have to pay someone to certify that your speedometer is indeed off as I am sure the officer tagged you with a laser?

I'd pay the fine and move on or if you have some extra money sitting around, fight it.

My wife and I manage the apartment complex that we live at, it keeps bills low while I work on my doctorate. On Saturday she rejected a guy and his wife because they didn't have social security numbers, when asked they admittec to being illegal immigrants. (They had been asked if they were American ciizens 5 time during the initial interview, and said yes every time). When she said that she couldn't rent to them, they asked why and she said she could lose her job. I also let her know later that it is also illegal to harbor and illegal immigrant, I think it is a felony.

Anyways, so that night the rear tires on our car got stabbed in the tire wall (this means you can't repair them), so we have to replace them. I take care of it, get the tire ordered, leave the rims at the tire shop so they can mount them and she can just drive it over there on Monday on the spare tire and a spare full-size they loaned to us.

I get up today, and the front right is stabbed!!! Now I have to pay for all four new tires, not just two. (There is no point in replacing three and not the fourth at the same time). I don't really have that kind of money, and my deductible is $500, so there is little point in making a claim, because the only result will be my premium going up.

Oh, yeah, and I am currently pricing out camera and DVR systems , and have to make a presentation/proposal this week to my management company for the system. Why can't this have happened next week when I have the cameras up already?
