Anyone ever hear if the speed camera's on the interstate were shut off or not?

Ya, they shut them off back in July.

They're all still mounted everywhere, though; they just don't take pictures anymore.

I go down 51 every morning.  People still slow down for the cameras.

Has anyone noticed that there are strips all over the 202 heading East as well?  I'm not sure if there were cameras there before..because I was gone for a few years..but they're ready to go when the cameras are reinstated.   

Thanks for the confirmation guys. I was pretty certain that they have been turned off, however, the low press regarding them being shut down is probably why so many drivers still are hitting the brakes (they just don't know).

I haven't been out on the 202 East in a LONG time so I'm not sure about that. Perhaps there were at one time and now they are gone.
