I have more or less been unemployed since December 09.  Multiple interviews, tried to pull strings from all sorts of places.  I may have finally landed a part time job that pays close to minimum wage.  It is not much but it is sure more than the nothing I am getting paid now. :)  Things will get better you just have to keep believing that.

Thank you all for the encouragement!  [bow_down] to you all. I love this place.

Congratulations, Heath!!! The DMF unemployment rate is shrinking!

I hope the rest of you find something that pays well that you love to do.  [clap]

Affirmative confirmation today that I'll have a PAYING project for two months â€"
with an obscene quota.

But I'm grateful and will do what I have to do to make their #'s.
(Don't let me calculate the time and pay, I'll just cry.)

And, wouldn't you know about 15 minutes later, another offer came in for a project
that is at the exact same time as the first.  Don't think I can swing both but still going
to talk with the second source tomorrow â€" just to be sure.

No more rationing lotion, deoderant, shampoo, beer...  at least for another two months!

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Woooo!!!!!!!!!!!  Rationing is no fun.  Glad to hear you have paid work lined up!  [beer]

Nothing here yet.  I must admit to not looking very hard the past couple of weeks.  With tight budget control, we can make it through the new year on just one salary.

It is encouraging to see others here getting work.  I will look more next week.
