A good friend of mine who is an Michigan State grad owns a popular restaurant and he did some trending and when OSU loses, his sales decline from Monday through Wednesday.

He despises OSU, but doesn't want them to lose because it hurts his bottom line in a major way

I'm not saying that Miaim is bad.  I actually think they are quite good but seem to have way to much confidence coming into this game and I know from experience that doesn't always equal a good thing.  

They are really going to have trouble with the Buckeye running game and both of our lines are better than yours so Harris will be pressured and he has proved that he doesn't handle pressure very well.  I'm sure you'll get some big plays against our secondary because your WR's are big and fast but other than that and Special Teams the Buckeyes have bettter units than the Canes.  Losing Cooper hurts you because the Buckeyes will be able to pin their ears back and the Silve Bullets will be flying to hit Harris.

Other than Purdue, In the last few years Tressell has only lost to Urban Meyer, Pete Carroll, Joe Pa, and Mack Brown (not including Miles because I don't think we should have been in that game).  Those are the best coaches in the country.  I'm really not afraid of Randy Shannon at all.

On a side note- I wish the Buckeyes and Canes would wear their Nike Pro Combats for this game like the VT/Boise game. VT's unis were sick as make the beast with two backs.

Your offensive line has experience against big defensive lines, not necessarily big AND fast. OSU has a better running game, which they will need because the secondary is a beast. If they get behind and have to pass, I would be very worried about the pass rush forcing Pryor to force some throws. Then you'll have a track meet.

Even the experts are saying that OSU will need to blitz more than they want to put pressure on Harris. I also agree that if Harris is pressured, he buckles.

So Miami's nightmare would be if OSU scores early and starts running the ball. The running game will slow down the pass rush and Pryor will have all day to throw.

OSU's nightmare is if they don't put enough pressure on Harris. When he has time, he is super accurate deep. Once they have a decent lead, they will run on anyone. Not to mention that the fans will be deflated and you lose the 100,000 screaming home field advantage.

I was watching the reakdown on ESPN and I only heard praise for Pryor's new found deep passing game. They showed some plays from last year where Tressel would rather run the ball than pass when teams were playing tight. basically his short passing game was stupendous, but his deep passing has only improved this year.

You can't compare practice with an actual game. The Miami D-line is just as big as any in the Big 10 and twice as fast as any of OSU's opponents. This will be the fastest line they see for a while, but when compared to each other OSU does have the better lines on both sides of the ball.

It should be a closer game than the 10pt spread. I will be happy if they have a chance to win it at the end, just like I always enjoy the FSU games. Even though they are terrible on the heart, they are never boring.

3. No financial implications (unless you are a business owner)
4. No decision on coaching
5. And most importantly..........if you aren't an alumni, my stake in you has gone down.

Almost moved to Tampa 3 years ago, but HATED the hiring manager of the company. Actually got offered the job, but he was such a prick, I had no interest in working for him. No Mexicans, Cubans, Muslim Fanatics or other Ethnic groups at least where I live.

Quiet, low sales taxes, low property taxes, lots of State Parks within minutes and Forests within a 1/2 hour.
