We really do live in different parts. There are parts of Ohio that are nice; I just live in the epicenter of hell.

I am still surprised OSU-Miami isn't a night game.

Usually the first big game OSU has is a night time game. Not sure why this one isn't.

ND-Michigan is at the same time slot.

Odd in my opinion.

I've lived in a few different places and to me, Buckeyes fans are no different than any fans of good teams.  Sure we are passionate and vocal but aren't LSU, Florida, and so many other SEC fans.

Actually Carlos, you and I both know that Miami fans (the city not the school) are notoriously bad/fair weather fans.  I would rather love my team no matter what than only like them when they're good.   

I can't wait for tomorrow.  I'll be one of the 105K screaming Buckeyes fans trying to take Harris off his game. 

We'll see how the speed factor plays out dude.  The Miami team that OSU played last time was hailed as the best college team ever and had multiple NFL Probowlers.  There were more than one questionable calls in that game.  Face it Miami had 3 tries to get 2 yds and couldn't do it.  Let's put it this way.  If both our teams got better from last year than Miami is in trouble. You want to talk about the Big Ten being slow but no one thinks the ACC is better than the Big Ten and you couldn't even beat Wisconsin last year with a month to prepare.

It's going to be a good one!

It's on because Bama is the #1 team in the country.  Probably should have been OSU/U but oh well.  I'm just hoping Penn State scores a point. 

Funny how we haven't had any Gator fans on here.  That was a "great" game they played against a 1-11 team from last year.

OSU fans are definitely different, in a good way.  Honestly, OSU fans are some of the most passionate that I've met.  I lived in OH and have been to many a game at the 'Shoe.  The only thing that pisses me off, is when they tell me schools other than OSU suck, even though they never went to OSU.  Beaver stadium is definitely louder though   A buddy of mine who used to be the OSU kicker said Beaver's field literally shook when the crowd was at peak cheer.

Growing up only a few miles from the campus, I agree with you.

Of course as a kid I loved them, but what little boy in south bend didn't want to grow up and play for them? None that I knew of.

But when one gets older, you figure out how much of douchebags the students are and how they treat us "townies"

make the beast with two backs them.

however.........that campus is absolutely beautiful.

I'm routing for Michigan but I can see Dayne Crist destroying the horrible Michigan secondary.  Shoestrings was awesome last week but he's too small to keep getting beat up running the ball.  By the time Michigan gets to league play he'll be hurt and if not some big linebacker from Michigan State or Wisconsin is going to kill him. I would be surprised if he's the starter against OSU to end the season.
