Scott, Like the others I'm glad to hear that you are ok and still in one piece.  One race left... Is it going to be doable for you and the bike? Or did the get-off kill those chances?

Glad to hear everyone else had a good ride today!  Today was my one day off this weekend, So I had to cancel the riding and get some work done.  Viva productivity! (I think)
Sometimes when you say no, you really mean YES, that is why we have the safe word.. "FLÜGGÃ...ÆŽNKâˆ,â,¬ÄŒHIÅ'βØL∫ÊN"  If at any time the pleasure is too much, simply say the safe word, and we will stop"

Dirty people say:
"yep.. Ducati makes a fine motorcycle.. If your into all that Crotchrocket Bulls@#t!"

Should be no problem.  All I have to do is order a rear brake lever and pedal...and maybe a clutch lever...it's bent, but not badly....and a hand grip.  Very minor.  My injuries are virtually nonexistant...a small bruise on the left hip (wanna kiss-it-make-it-better?) and a little abrasion...and I MEAN little....on the upper left back where the back protector was pulled to one side a little too quickly.  It's good to have good gear.  I should order new gloves, but may make these last one more race.

Scott, sorry to hear about your off. I'm glad to hear you're ok and the bike isn't too bad. I guess one of the better things about this track is its not that fast and if you do go down, your not doing a buck 30 or something like that. Get better and see you out there soon.

Scott, it's never any fun to for anyone or their bike to eat dirt.  As others have said, at least it's dirt and not something really hard.  I am glad that you and the bike only sustained minor abrasions.....   :o

Occasional plowing of furrows in the dirt next to the track seems to be part of the sport, even though most of us try very hard not to have these agricultural excursions.  As you know I too have plowed a furrow in the dirt there but also with minimal consequences.

Now that the serious stuff is over, I can say...."Man, you are an inspiration!"..... you are even good at falling down correctly!    [clap]

Unfortunately, Ed, that "expertise" also comes with practice.   [bang]

That's hilarious, Bonfy.  The wheelstand at the end it PERFECT!!   ;D

I cringed when Redford walked across the track with bikes whizzing by.  Amazing somebody didn't get killed just filming that nonsense.   [laugh]

Yeah, I thought it fitting for the topic.   ;D   I agree, that last wheelstand was hilarious.  Not to make light of your crash though.  Glad you walked away with minimal damage.  I have been fortunate that way myself.  Knock on wood.

Hey, I really appreciate you getting in touch with me about that job.  Let me know if more details emerge.  I am eager to get back down there, but have to be financially prudent (if nothing else).

Who is riding this weekend?  Like Saturday?  Like, Saturday morning at CAD at, like, 8:00 or so?  Like, who's in?
