Its been a month and a half since my first trackish day (stay upright course) and im itching for more.

I am considering going to the Monday 4th of Oct track day at Eastern Creek?

Sorry, won't be there on Monday, but am planning to be at Eastern Creek this Saturday, 2nd.  I'm taking both Ducatis for a run - the 848 and the 696.

If you're out & about on Saturday, pop out & say g'day. The Monster will be sporting a new paint job, and if you want to see those Metaltech rearsets or Quat-D ex-box exhausts in the flesh - good opportunity! (The Metaltechs are so awesome, by the way, that I've fitted them to both the 696 and the 848. )

If there's room in Docstrada's garage, I'll be squeezed in there. If not... I won't be too far away.

i forgot monday is a Public Holiday, so im out, i might look to to tuesday the 5th

I got there yesterday. Managed 3 sessions for the day in between some pretty shitty weather.

I did the first session on the 848 (so much fun), and then managed 2 sessions on a dry track later in the day.  (I had a quiet word to one of the officials who let me out in the yellow group, so I got to do yellow & green back to back.  )

The Monster is looking great. Had it at the painter's last week - very happy with the result. Quite a few positive comments from on-lookers yesterday. 

yep it does look good  ...well done ...one of the first of the new monsters i have seen that actually looks good.....and i agree track days and wet weather dont mix
