I don't veiw it as Leon lost his job....I viewed it as Leon was freed to pursue other avenues since Batta can't give him any certainty for the kind of support he needs to pursue some real results out of a machine that isn't up to par, and the lack of anything further in chain of support....to me it looks as of Batta is being the bigger man in the situation and I hope he sends a real message to the racing paddock and to Suzuki by doing so...maybe Batta will pick up some BMW's or some other manufactured machine and continue to run a race team, as he is certainly not a bad team owner at all...and if that happens, maybe a rider or 2 will climb on board knowing how Batta does business...

Man, chicane is a total clustermake the beast with two backs.  I forget about it, and then it comes time to race at Imola again and I'm reminded of how bad it is.  What a nightmare from a safety standpoint.

Toseland has been teh suck this year.  He needs a different ride for next year (which he'll get) to figure out if he's just lost it or whether he just wasn't getting on with the Yami.

the kawi's problem has never been power.. if only wsbk were a drag race.  looks like they found a good [half race distance] set-up finally.

congrats to max indeed... but the whole thing was kinda of a yawner.  really too bad for leon.  maybe japan hit the remote kill once they found out batta was going to bad-mouth them in his press release.

OK, I just sat down and watched both Imola WSBK races again (kinda buzzed through them before) and was just wondering if anyone ever understood anything Martin said in commentary? Did the guy even have a microphone on? Was it working? All I heard was mumbling, bad mumbling at best, with sort of an English accent. I have no make the beast with two backsing idea what he said in either race! I may be hard of hearing in my left ear but I could hear the other commentator just fine. WTF?? [bang]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

He had some sort of mic issue, I could barely here him as well.

OK, just taking a break to get a fresh cold beer and watching the Imola World Super Sport race on my dvr. Ah... I guess nobody told Steve Martin to actually clip the microphone to his shirt rather than leaving it on the floor. [laugh] Is it me, or does anyone else find Sofuoglu boring as hell. I know his WSBK attempt went in the toilet because of lack of talent and personal tragedy. But I find myself wanting Laverty and everyone with two legs and a heart beat to kick his ass in World Super Sport. He seems to be stuck in limbo. World Supersport = Le Brea tar pits! Thankfully Laverty will advance classes (as he should) and Kenan will flounder as the World Super Sport "king". Ten kate should be fined by the FIM for being boring. ;D

Sorry Laverty took them both out at the end but it still doesn't quash my dislike of Kenan. I'm just glad Laverty moves on and who gives a make the beast with two backs about Kenan and what he does. :P Success doesn't buy you admiration. Sometimes the opposite is true. :-*

I Like Sofu purely because he ride like a true make the beast with two backsing lunatic, His rossi leg out thing is ridiculous looking and  looks like he's going to throw himself off the bike.
