Price seems right.

I have some custom molded ear plugs from Big Ear (from the Int'l cycle show) and they have been trying to get me to buy the stereo version for years (its more than $300 last I looked )

Finally I told them to leave me alone and that I thought their price was ridiculous.

Anybody try these?

I've got them; they're...OK.

The best thing that I can say about them is that they are way, way more comfortable to wear under a helmet than any of the ear buds I've had.  You can literally wear them all day with no complaint.  My only beef is that they just don't seem to do that good of a job at blocking out wind noise; they don't form a tight enough seal in the ear canal, I think.  Maybe if they were made from a more pliable material they'd work better.

But hell, I've pissed away well more than $45 on a good night's drinking and had nothing to show for it.  The price is definitely right; give 'em a shot and see what ya think.

Hows the sound quality?

Not as good as my $42 pair of Sony buds.  Again though, it's hard to quantify since they won't form a tight seal in my ear.

The drivers definitely are lowest-bidder though; figure you're buying $35 worth of cool, two-part foam gooey stuff and $10 buds.

  I have discovered that most Audiologist, even the older hearing aid shops I called, do custom hearing protectors, swimmers ear protectors, make ear molds, and install your ear bud inside, as standard services. I called 4 offices in my area, and the average price was between $40-$60.

  I am going to have custom molded  ear buds made to replace the speakers on my bluetooth head set.

I was impressed for a week and then they started to deteriorate.  IMO spend the real money

I was going to try this out.
