Hey duckwrench, my girlfriend decided to sit this round out for a bunch of different reasons. We think it's just too soon (experience, money, gear) to go this time around. Thanks again for the offer. We're bound to hit the track sometime this season and think we're still going to try on suits this weekend.

Can't go -- out of the country on biz trip

Maria and I are heading up on Thursday. Don't have the specific time set yet, probably mid afternoon (?). We've decided to camp at the track. We figured why not?

We still have plenty of space for gear, and a passenger or two, if someone needs a lift.

You guys are gonna have a blast...    Enzo and I usually come draggin' in real late and have to set up in the dark, so if you can get there during the daylight and find a nice spot, you're golden.  I like to set up near the showers/bathroom when we're there.  It's pretty domestic, even for me, and I hate camping.  (Worked three years on a fire crew and slept outside most of the time during summer.  I'm done with that crap.  I loves me my Serta...)

I'm so jealous!  I don't get back out there until this Fall, but hopefully next year I won't have a wedding eating up my extra cash and time.     Post up picts! 

Keep in mind that they let ladies set up under the metal canopy for these track days. Take advantage of that if there's space: it'll make your day that much more enjoyable.

Do yourself a favor and prepare now if you can...really hydrate, vitamins, rock those super salty fries, and sit in the car in the full sun with the windows up to help aclimate...i dunno...just get ready to bake!

High temp for me last year was 156.8 F, 18% humidity. Not too worried for 90-100 F up there.

No reports on Ladies day?!?!  I didn't see/meet anyone either...

I saw one orange and black S2(?) in the women's group. Maria was on an all black CBR600RR, and my trusty 916, #84, was quietly sitting on its paddock stand all day...never saw the track.

There's a picture of Maria and I taking her bike through tech on the 4TR site, but no riding shots.

B group sure had a rough weekend.  I though I was going to nut up when first session on Saturday was black flagged.   Grrrrrrrr!.....
