Think it was mainly the job (management) that he didn't like down there.  We'll see how things go up here...

I'm not easily replaced, but it sounds like it may have happened, just this once. 

Went for a 2 hour ride this morning...got wet, dried out and got wet again, bike is filthy...

Went down to the shop and offered technical advice to Rick as he modified his exhaust baffles so they would be just like mine...

Took a ride up Tantalus with Rick to kill time while Exhaust Systems Hawaii did a little welding on the baffles.

So, how do they sound?...

cleaned the house, detailed the smart car, took the 848 into town and checked out the block party not horrible ... not great either

Met up with part of the JJ gang this morning and took my boss with us for a slow to medium ride. Nothing real thrilling happened.  He's picking it all up pretty quick.

I'm painting the new exhaust baffles now and watching TV. Will catch the MotoGP race in a bit.

Good fun for me today...medium pace, but was able to wick it up a bit in spots.

Let us know how the exhaust is with the new baffles...hope you get that sound that you've been chasing...

How's the rider? We can assume the bike didn't fare too well. What happened?

The sound of Eleven? Well, maybe..... I'm not looking so much for the deep bass but just trying to get some noise that's still below obnoxious.  Gene said he couldn't even hear the engine with the full stock baffles in and having just the end caps in is still a bit loud when the engine is wicked up.  I'm returning to a former version that has the "Gene" mod. We'll see next weekend.
