I was out at 48 degrees. Not MAJOR but you know....thts stilll pretty cold

it 43 now and im riding today.

hey guys new to the forum! Been riding everyday this week including today, just got home from a ride down to Bongis in dux to get a turkey sandwich. (if anyones local and has not been there you really need to give it a try) temp is currently 49 here in Hanover mass.

I rode last weekend and plan on riding this weekend.  I'll ride till the salt they roads which will be any day now.     The salt will wreck the bike. 



But I have heated grips and a heated jacket, perfect for those 40 and below rides. 

As soon as I get my bike back from the shop on Friday, then I'll still be riding until the weather hits probably around 40s. And uh....not to sound to be mean or anything, Phoenix area is still 50s-80s. It's been too long of a wait, wish I can have pick my bike up today, but guess I have to wait til' Friday.  [moto]

Still riding,,, won't stop except to let snow and sand clear the roads as needed. But I'm in CT, our winters aren't as bad as those of our friends much further north..

My bikes have been stored away since 2 weeks ago.  I also have a good excuse .... I had hip replacement surgery last Thursday. 

You kids are all waaaaaay too exuberant.  

every now and then... we get some really fantastic temps in december  [moto]

we have radiant heat in our garage, so we never put the bikes to bed.

i wont ride unless it's 50°+... i don't have the right gear for colder than that

I rode to and from work Thursday. It was 33F and started raining as soon as I hit the end of my driveway. Not too bad, except it's clear I MUST get a pinlock shield and insert for my helmet.

If it's not raining and the roads are clear of snow, ice, and sand I'll ride down to about 20F.

Willl be back on the road this week.

I usually ride down to 20*, anything below disables the bike.

wow, i'm only good til low 50s, it gets way too cold for me to enjoy it anything lower.  if it hits 50's while i'm home this weekend though, i plan on riding

how hard was it to install heated handgrips btw?  i really like the idea of them!

It was 28F when I left the hospital last night at 8:15. My bike was covered in frost so I was watching closely for any frost on the road but didn't see any. With proper gear, cold isn't really the issue in itself. Ice, snow, and road sand aren't my friends so I usually stop riding when those appear on the roads.

In my case, not any effort at all since my bike (Multistrada 1200ST) came with them from the factory. It really shouldn't be at all hard on a Monster, though.
