I've also been told 9mm isn't enough to carry.

That it lacks stopping power.

I heard this from a 1911 lover. The guy that sold me mine and taught me to reload for it. I respect his knowledge of firearms quite a bit.

Im not sure about this though.

I know *I* wouldn't ever want to be hit with a 9mm

Its not a popular caliber for no reason. I get that.

It would be cheaper if I stuck with .45 as I already load for that but I haven't come across any .45's I like
