Time we did it again.

I propose any day between Jan 17 and Jan 30 (although a week day would be more fun than weekends  ;)).

Early start, late finish for a big day of  [moto] over some of the twisties less travelled.

You name the day and I'll find you the roads.

I'm on leave from the 23rd, so a day after that would be good.

How about Monday 24th or Friday 28th?

Of those 2 dates I vote for Monday 24th (coz the caravan-pullers will be making a long weekend of it after Oz Day).

I could be talked into that. Just need a couple of days notice considering I have a 300km+ transport to get to the start line.

Hmm, looks like I'm going to miss out again.  I'm heading off to Singapore on Thursday for 5 weeks of work so I won't be around.  Pity coz it would be good to catch up with you all again.

I'm thinking about a ride on Monday morning though if anyone is interested.  Just a couple of hours of local cruising to keep things going.
PM me if anyone is interested.

Cheers and enjoy the ride,
Rob.

I'm interested. As long as we leave early enough so I can ride while the teenagers sleep!

You are very welcome. Sounds like you need to arrive at the starting point the night before. I don't know where we will meet yet.

Where should we meet Unge? Closer to your end or at somewhere like Warbi or Toolangi? You're leading..., It's a capacity thing.. [evil]

Well I'll be getting on the Queenscliffe-Sorrento ferry and staying the night somewhere on the Mornington Peninsula probably.  Depends on the meet up point.

DosVerde

oooh I have the day off on the 24th, and it's about time I got off my fat butt and took the bike out for it's yearly blast.

Put me down for 66.67% probability.

I'll be in, at least a 78% chance!

can someone ride slow with me, I'm  a bit out of practice - still waiting for the summer to come down to get my thin ass out there....or training wheels?

rendang

I'm riding to Phillip Isl for the Int' Classic Callenge and will be heading back to Sydney mon 24th, so I could possibly meet in the morning and ride at least some of the way before heading off north. Was somebody planning to post a route map ? then I could work out if this is do-able or not.
Also wondering, for my trip down, about the Mansfield Woods Point rd, from (obviously [roll]) Mansfield thru Jamieson, Woods Point, Matlock etc to Reefton Spur. It looks fantastic on a map,but could be all dirt, anyone been there lately ?

It was dirt 2 years ago Rendang (if anyone else knows better I'll gladly be corrected) Phone the Jamieson pub for info.  Whitfield to Mansfield is a good ride. Then from Mansfield do the the Black Spur instead (Narbethong to Healsville).  Or do a loop of both spurs if you have the time. The spurs can be heavily policed at times - be warned.

Re: the Gippsland ride.  It's doable.

I think Ungeheuer is in charge of the route.   [roll] [roll]
