Interesting perspective. Kenny crashed. Jorge's fault? ? I didn't get that from the story. More like desire & competiveness vs. senior desire & competiveness with a bit of ego thrown in on both sides. No problem with that. They both know what they're doing.

Lorenzo says Stoner, not Rossi, is his biggest threat this upcoming year.  Despite the fact that he kicks old people out of wheelchairs, I agree.  For now.  ;D

I concur...Stoner's gonna be batshit fast on the RCV. If he can keep it rubber side down, Lorenzo's got a fight on his hands.

Of course, I think Rossi will win a few and be right there...

I would also agree that Stoner is going to be fierce competition for Jorge...

I ask you gentlemen this though....

which makes a bigger impact on the series...Jorge winning a 2nd title in a row on the Yammyhammer, or Casey winning a 2nd title on a different manufacturer...

and as a side note...at what point does Puig's head explode when Casey is consistantly outperforming Danny??

Neither. Dead bike walking, in both cases, and we already know Casey would be fast on anything he rode. The bigger factor is the new technical regs, methinks...and the ever-shrinking grid.

They need a Puigcam for all MotoGP events this year.

That's damn funny!! [laugh] I like the Puigcam idea! Catch it blowing live. :o

I too think if Stoner keeps it rubber side down and cuts back on the whinning he's going to give George and everyone some fits. [moto] [popcorn] Rossi will be there too. I have no doubt.

i think when we get into the meat of the season, when rossi is healthy and we've been to a number of tracks at which various bikes do or don't work well, there will shake out to be 5-6 aliens rather than 4.  and about 8 that are generally fighting for it.

before that, lorenzo and stoner will run away.  and ben will be not far behind, assuming he starts to really trust the tires early on.

I think so too. Right up until the time Lorenzo starts banging fairings with him, scares him shitless, and makes him puke in his helmet.

All the while, Rossi will be quietly laughing in the background, developing the duc, and picking up the pieces next to Pedrobot and Spies.

it's dangerous to underestimate rossi...   [evil]

No one is underestimating Rossi. We're just being realistic with the duc.

(I have a feeling this is gonna come back to bite me in the ass.)

I'm thinking that if Stoner can win on the Duc, then Rossi sure as hell can.  [popcorn]

You need to remember a couple of things...

Rossi took a dog of a bike and won his first race and turned the bike into the best on the grid against the mighty Honda
