I'm Bob from Santa Barbara and I've been without a ride for the last 25 years while my kids were born, grew up, and jumped from the nest. Before that I put 50,000 miles on a Honda CB 500-Four that was my car rain or shine. My riding roots go back to high school where I logged quality time on a Mustang Thoroughbred (I'll bet not many people remember those!).

Anyway, last year I started walking past a Monster 1100 out in the parking lot, and every time I passed it I would stop and stare at it. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. I couldn't help myself, and I was hooked... all in.

So my plan is to take the Motorcycle Safety Course to refresh my skills and go shopping for an 1100 EVO in the spring.

I knew you were from Santa Barbara by past reading in the forum. Yup, the 33 to Ojai would probably be the outer limit of my range. Thanks for the tip and I look forward having a big Duc in the garage later this spring.
