That is sweet, you guys should be proud!
I hope now for your sanity you don't get a whole lot of input from people telling you what you could have done different. I rekon it looks awesome and I would ride it!

Thats looks great Matty.... the knobbys look wikid on it.... glad you went for something a little different. Well Done....

I notice the studio is no longer that brilliant white it once was :)

Judgement day...
35 bikes turned up to be judged, looking at them there were about 1/3 that never had a chance due to them being
totally outside the guidelines. By that I mean there was someone who bought along there SC1000 with Speedymoto bits bolted on, there were a fair few chooper/bobber types that were just worth far too much.

We got a highly commended which was awarded for the 910 image slide show animated of the bike from the moment it entered the studio to the moment it left. Once we get it uploaded I'll post it.

In the meantime this is Andy the project instigator on the B29 Bomber.

Thanks to J5, Jukie and Betty for dropping in and for the extra long travel to get down.

Nice work. Well done, and I look forward to seeing the slide show!

Andy has found time to put together an edit of the images taken while we were building/inventing our take on a beach tracker.

Nice one mate.
Would love a complete run down on what you guys did.

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”
NYTimes: "...highlights of his global tour include encounters with Nelson Mandela, an 800-year-old demigod and a dildo collector."

I wanna know where the bicycle handlebars, briefly seen at 1:49, ended up...

Nice looking bike, btw.

2007 Monster 695 with a few mods.
2013 Piaggio Typhoon 50 2 stroke speed demon.

The handle bars most likely ended up on a bike of Andy's or they are in the corner of the studio/workshop collecting dust.
What did we do, well not a whole lot really.

Did heaps of cleaning with grinders and wire brushes on drills.
Dropped the forks through the triples, got some lower springs for the rear.
Did some more grinding and cleaning.
Cut the seat to narrow it, covered it in pretty cow hide with very little padding.
Did some grinding and cleaning.
Over thought what paint scheme we were going to use.
Searched like mad men for a smaller prettier tank to use.
Did some grinding and cleaning.
Clear coated the whole frame and swing arm.
Oommed and Urrred as to what to do with exhaust.
Did some grinding and cleaning.

Then in the last 3-4 days went mad putting it back together and hoping it would start.

Planning the next one at the moment, well we have picked the bike we want to use.

monstermick58

Single or multi cyclinder Matty?

This won't hurt much.... Trust me......

mattyvas

Multi, think mass produced learner cruiser.

monstermick58

Yeah, think I know where you are going. The wheel size lends it self to that fat tyre look and the frame is already low.

Good luck with the project
