the headlight kills it for me, wayy to busy.

your kinda mixing decades in a weird and off putting way, raw alum says oldschool 50-60s, glitter paint screams 70s and CF is 90's+. if you want a retro bike decide on a period to emulate. the glitter paint is rad in its own right and would suit a molded tracybody style tail section and matching fender.

the aluminum could work alright with the CF and amber headlight but you would have to go with a fairly monochromatic look to pull it off right.

try flipping your headlight ears so that they point down and lower the headlight in line with the seat. I think its a bit to big for the bike and sticking it above the triples just makes it appear even larger.

I'm confused.  You got an S2R 800 engine so you can use your current carbs on it, or you got the S2R 800 engine so you can save your old carbs to use on a different project?  You may have a difficult time getting the carbs to work with that motor  ;)

That being said, fantastic work.  Custom work is a pregnant dog, but worth every minute :)

That tail piece looks just right  [clap].  Are you still planning on using spoked wheels from a Sport Classic?

I don't think your customized seat will switch over to the S2R1000.  Maybe it can be modified to fit.

The vertical tube on an S*R bike goes right behind the engine.  On a DSS Monster, the tube routes around a swingarm cross member before heading into the box.

I've heard of one DSS Exbox that got modified to run on a S*R bike but the guy doing the work was hating life trying to get it to work (wasn't me).  Also the exh port location & angle is different between an M750 and a S2R1000.

Either sell what you've got (with the fancy coating) or break that coating to cut/weld on it and you're off in custom fab-land...  Those are your options.
