Found some old cell phone pics while digging thru my backup drive.



Saw this beast at Lowe's one day. I have no idea wtf this battering ram contraption on the front could be for. It's hard to tell in this pic, but it stuck out a good 2 feet from the front of the truck. And the dark grey bent tube looking thing on top is actually a makeshift wing made from 1" square tubing supports and some very thin hand bent sheet metal. Larry the Cable Guy approves!






Took this pic while working in Grundy, VA. It might be hard to tell, but that's a 4 ft tall pink bunny in the window. That make the beast with two backser creeped us out for weeks. Finally got a pic as they were tearing the building down, which made it even creepier.




Was trying out video function on my brand new camera and lightning struck the tree across the street. Didn't get the lightning bolt, but did get the streamer. You can't tell by this pic, but that tree is only about 50-75 yds away, just across the street. Lightning struck within 100 yds of me 5 times that summer. Kinda freaky.

Me too. Have been within 100 yds of a ground strike about 10 times in my life. I was working at UVA in Aug/Sept and one hit about 30-40 feet from where we were standing. It felt like a flash bang went off and stunned all 3 of us standing there.

I can see that. I figured it had to have some sort of use like that.

I had an assload of wtf pics on my old computer, but lost them all. The first year I lived here, I saw a very disturbing amount of weird shit around here. Jesus, the day I moved here I literally witnessed a large dog make the beast with two backsing a goat in somebody's front yard within 30 minutes of arriving in town.

lightning struck the ground about 5 feet away from my car while I was sitting at an intersection, that was pretty wild
