Joel, I've thought about this. Here is how you can attend. Tell you boss there is a moto gathering of a group you are affiliated with and you want to attend. But you are scheduled to work. Then make him a deal. If you can pre-sell X dollars worth of goods to those attending this event then you can have the day off to deliver these items in person. I mean these would be totally extra sales for the store as most of the people attending would never actually show up at your store. And its good PR for the cyclegear brand in general. How much do you think you would have to sell for your boss to be okay with it? Could you offer a 10% discount to encourage sales? I'm certain you can work this.
