Though I love Alien, I must confess that Aliens has always been my favorite. Ironically it's the only one directed by James Cameron and looking at his other films, it certainly carries that feel to it. Not to mention all the great one liners in it!!

Hudson: "Hey Vasques, you ever been mistaken for a man?"
Vasques: "No....have you?"

[laugh]

Best line in that movie.

I have to agree Aliens is my fave followed by Alien Resurrection

Alien i just can't get on board with. It scared the crap out of me when i was 8. Now the special effects seem so bad its hokey.

For anyone who streams movies with Netflix, here's a cool link for streams that I like to use to see what's new, what's coming soon, what's expiring, what great, and what's not:

Dark Knight Rises: It was confirmed in a recent interview with Anne Hathaway that Batman will be facing off (at least in part) with/against Catwoman.

Star Trek - Paramount has green lit the sequel without having even read the script!

Spider-Man...trying to blend in:

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman...she's hot but I would prefer someone a little more foxy and dangerous looking like Angelina Jolie's character in Wanted.   The kind of a girl that Kid Rock is describing in his song SO Hott, I know your trouble but I still want a taste!"

YUP!

Is catwoman a blond or brunette?  I know Michelle Phiffer was a blond but I always thought of catwoman to be a dark haired bombshell!

IMHO....that movie has high potential to suck. It looks like a mix between Wanted, 300, and Avatar - too much CGI and mythology for my taste. Airplans, dragons, samurai, gangsters, showgirls, and preteen actors....

[coffee]

The original Catwoman was a brunette.

Anne Hathaway is confirmed as the next Cat Woman - so Brunette

...the paper that the doctor gave me says that there's no longer anything wrong with me and that it's safe for me to interact with people again....good thing too...I was really getting tired of that padded room... [cheeky]

I just like movies with more sustenance. I'd rather see a movie that has put more effort into story than special effects. Though a balance of the two isn't bad. I'll admit though that there are days when all I want to see is John McClain blowing stuff up, Rocky beating the snot out of Ivan Drago, or JCVD kick'n it at the Kumate....but at least those movies come off relativly realistic.

....dragons....are not...prepubescent teens with magical powers...are not.... [coffee]

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to get back to counting the number of staples in my stapler... [cheeky]

Seriously, how (in reference to Sucker Punch) can you take any character seriously whose name is "Sweet Pea" or "Baby Doll" or "Rocket"??

Thinking about sitting through a movie hearing those names over and over agian makes me want to sucker punch one of the writers... [cheeky]
