I am now a true hooligan!!!!!!!  I just put a deposit on a 2005 S2R 800 that will be getting here in a week.  I took a test ride and came back with the biggest smile I have had since I lost my virginity  ;D.  The p.o. will be riding it up here from P-town and all for the price of a train ticket :)  I feel like an leo on free donut day!!!!!!!!  Side Note: I had no idea how f'in loud the arrow full system was [cheeky]  I can't wait to get it here to start riding [moto]  For those who are only interested in looks, here are the pics ;D

Congratulations, good on ya, and welcome to the Monster family!  Looks like it'll be a great riding season for you!
If it's got two wheels and a motor, I like it!

IZ

I remember hearing one of the AZduc riders full Arrow system out at Tortilla Flats.  He was up in the canyon about a mile away and still loud!!   [evil]

Way to go there Mac-48, a real good looker and those Arrows ....Ikeep hearing on the Forum how loud they are. Never heard them in person. Hope to some day. Enjoy and keep the Duc a float. I know what that excitement feels like and so do so many others ...it's just about indescribeable. Like Christmas for a 4 year old .

thanks for all of the responses! Sorry Johnster I didn't ride through duxbury, I stayed in the neighborhood of the p.o.(which was massive).  He lives in Millwakie(sp?) but most don't know that it is in oregon....I was too scared to take it out on busy streets cause I'm not used to the clutch yet.  It was like when I was learning how to drive a manual car :-\......It is understandable though cause it is the first bike I've ridden since the MSF course.  I felt more comfortable on the monster than the 125cc bikes we learned on :)  I am going through Duc withdrawals right now....It feels like the time I tried to stop drinking coffee.  It looks like it was just taken home from the dealer....but that happens when the odometer has 2600 miles on it and it is a 2005 ;D  I can't wait to ride it more [moto]

Man congratulations!

It's good to have other young riders on the board.

I can tell you right now, those arrows are wicked loud when you get on the throttle, which I expect it to be very soon...

We expect full pics and full write up when you take delivery...

NIce JOb man. She is a real beauty.
About the same time you're dragging your knees through a series of tight left-right-handers on Sunday afternoon, some guy in white shoes is sweating a 3-foot putt. Go figure.

Yes, Yes.  Indeed, +1 to what Mr. Matador said.

Those Arrow pipes are certainly horrible, noisy, ugly things.  Please remove them immediately and send them to me!  I will er, um, dispose of them properly.   ;D

Congrats.  Awesome bike.
