The wife and I will be staying in the Chelsea area 4/1-2. We need a good restaurant for Friday night when we come in. Any good Tapas places?  Our Saturday night is booked due to a family party at Le Bernardin.

I looked on yelp but wanted to know your favorites.

Alta - 10th b/w 5th and 6th. 

The only good Tappas place I know of is in Tribeca, Kana, http://www.kanatapasbar.com 

Sala and The Barrel, but they are down near Astor Place.

it's 19th street between 5th and 6th ave (closer to 6th ave on the north side)

GREAT tapas... but usually very crowded.
