I cleaned the bike.  First time ever.  It's not perfect, but I don't think it could go from it's prior level of filth straight to shiny.  The maths would not allow it.

Looks good man.  But it is a dark, so shouldn't be too shiny...

I missed more than a few parts, but it is better than before.  Now if I can just bring myself to go over it again, it might actually look good.

When did a Dark come with a gloss black tank?

I suppose that was when the previous owner had the tank repainted.  He asked for it to stay dark, and that's what he got.
