Thanks all for a cracking day.. That run up mac pass has to be one of my highlights of the year so far... Absolutely fricking brilliant!

Sorry for missing you all on the way home.. after the Brian making off with Luba debacle I did a quick petrol run at Helensburgh and missed the remaining group. All good, but didn't get to say proper g'byes.

Dez & Luba - glad to hear that all was okay .. I can only imagine the wide range of thoughts that must have been running through your head mate.. Never a doubt that things would be fine, but just not knowing must've been rubbish.

Brian - as usual, all class mate. Wouldn't expect anything less.

On to Matty's brilliant photog work...

Surely this is worth a caption competition..

Pity that reflection in the glasses wasn't just a tiny bit clearer... would have been even more brilliant.

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”

It was great to see Suz out on a ride again , maybe it was that PM i sent you no pressure  [laugh]

And fantastic for W'gong Rob on his green machine to get some respite considering his troubles at the moment.
Thinking of you mate .

Thanks for a great ride, guys!  Really excellent stuff - I was a bit worried about taking a pillion on such a long one, but it worked out perfectly.

I'm sure with just a little bit of counseling, she'll be back to normal.

I got a monster and i aint afraid to use it !

braando

Two dogs

Rod I have a few spare orange indicator lenses and bulbs if you want them.

hambo

Hi Rod ......having a loo [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]k at pics..........fairing scratches will polish out with a cutting polish and some elbow grease..or at least be so small you wont see them ...................foot brake is knackered anyway ....so grab a bit of pipe or a large shifter and SLOWLY....have a crack at bending it back into shape....it works more than 50% of the time ......until you can track one down.........just a few thoughts ..........but best of all bikes r easier to fix than people   [thumbsup] [moto]

braando

i do have an s4r brake lever Rod..i gather it would fit.........will only cost u a coffee mate..... [coffee]

Wells

Wow Rod, sorry to hear mate.. on the plus side, though, good to hear that you avoided any serious damage.
Good luck with getting it all sorted out, and good luck with the upcoming CSS.

Glad that Hambo was around to help dust you off.. Couldn't imagine anyone better for the task. I think it speaks volumes of the OzMo "fraternity" that ozmo's are keeping an eye out for each other.. Between this and Brian going way out of his way to make sure Mrs Two Dogs got back safe and sound I feel really proud to be a part of this thing... So thanks guys.

Hey Rod,

I have a set of bars and a (front) brake lever that you're more than welcome to.  They're just gathering dust in my garage otherwise.

Cheers,

Suzy

I too have a set of handlebars (sorry the levers and the masters went to bigiain)

Do you start to see a common thread of people with clip on conversions and spare handlebars?

Oh, and welcome to the "I stacked it on an Oz Monster ride" club. As the No 1 Ticket holder, I welcome you with open arms and a friendly smile!

Seriously, glad to hear it was a little one, with only a things on the bike that need fixing..
Oh, and at least the storm trouper outfit has some street cred now - perhaps you can tell stories of being on the death star when the rebels attacked.... (oh, and $400 for a dainese 1 piece is a friggen good excuse to buy it no matter what colour it is)
