Ha! I just work hard and am good at figuring out what the boss wants.

I did have one Mgr that called me "Mary Star".

Researching clutches. Can you buy just the friction plates like I do for my antique dual-sport?

I've not found any, I guess I need to just get my wallet out and pony up for a new kit.

Here's what was in there:

I was wondering about the two thin metal discs at the top right, and then the narrow friction disc on the top left.  They don't really match.

Thanks!  I was looking at the CA & MonsterParts kits, I didn't realize plates were than much.  My old dirtbike spoiled me, I could get a set of plates for $35!

I'm not a fan of Barnett plates for dry clutches.

They're great for wet clutches.

I'm assuming mine's got damaged when some gas sipped to the crankcase when I had the 'coil malfucntion' ... It's slipping more than usual ... and mine is a wet clutch ...

so, which dry clutch would you reccommend?

nice reading, http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2011/Apr/110404versus.htm
for me or someone that lives in the city?

Steel or aluminum basket?

Truth be told, it's hard to beat the factory clutch for longevity.
