Fitted my suburban bars the other day and my "new" GPS mount - perfect.

Took the bike out for a spin up Putty today (just a quick out and back) and I'm all smiles.

Using my bluetooth GPS and Palm Treo now in a waterproof RAM Aquabox. Ordered the mounting hardware from the US site, paid for it and got it delivered from a company in Sydney 2 days later - brilliant.

Anyone wanting to mount anything should have a look at http://www.ram-mount.com/

So Guys
what do you think about the Belly Pan colour. Should i just leave it all red, or maybe paint it black or black and red, what do ya think

I think either black or same as the tank (even tho that would be hard to keep clean).  It's very noticable in red.

and you must have way too much spare time to have dug up such an old thread  [roll] [cheeky] - I was wondering what the hell MD was doing riding the Putty!!  [laugh]

I like the shape of the pan, but I think there's too much red....

Get creative with red/grey and it'll be stunning [thumbsup]
252,000 km/seventeen years - loving it

Jukie

I think it's got to be the same as the tank, not to sure about black, definitely not a fan of the red. Sorry to throw a spanner in the works :) can't wait to see ya again Julie!

hambo

im a fan of the red.........................maybe we could sneak a little No 27 in there as well [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

mattyvas

It's gotta be titanium colour Jukie, maybe with a pin stripe around it in red.
Black is not the right colour IMO there is nothing black in the paint scheme on the bike.
It would be too heavy a colour at the bottom of the bike.

maybe same as the tank ??
i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

S4RTs should look like this:

:'( :'( :'( :'( I miss Trev's bike damn it. Why did I let it go, why!!!1!

But seriously, some belly pans looks wicked (Melvin, RobS, I'm looking at you). But they are Carbon. And Carbon makes me happy in my pants.

That S4RT needs a quatdbox, , clipons and no mirrors. It's a track bike after all  [moto]

I am drunk. This opinion may not remain relevant when my BAC drops below .15
