Your Hollywood made sequel will suck.
East Coaster's bring more gritty realism to the party than you pretty boys.  [cheeky]

Fixed it for ya  [thumbsup]

We have a secret weapon!

One main difference is the lack of a thunder storm in summer...umm, I'm sorry, we don't get those on the west coast  ;D

No, but someone seems to have let Trogdor the Burninator loose all over NorCal, so we'll call it a wash.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

But I heard Ash doesn't put out. As you can see Nate provided a Care Bear for lonely Herm.

Joel,

you'll need a bigger back yard. ;)

We would be happy to host another DIMBY for the east coasters.

We all had a great time.

You were the perfect host for this and the location was doable for any real rider (or trailerable for the others  ;) ).
I'd offer up my place but my setup isn't anywhere near adequate for a decent amount of people, that and my wife said that one lame geek is bad enough having around, she doesn't want a whole herd of us. She already asked me how soon am I leaving for a weekend again, she rather enjoyed not having to clean up after me for a couple days.  [laugh]

All y'all are welcome here anytime.

We have the space....it's not fancy but there's plenty of it.

I might even have a mower that won't quit half way through the job next time. ;D

If you guys want to do a DMF trackday let me know. I can talk to Tim or Bruce and see if we can book a day next year with Fishtail at NHMS...

I might even have a chance of keeping up with Monsterlover at that track ;D

Oh please  [roll]  I think you're giving me too much credit.

I love trackdays.  They're like crack.  I can't say no.

Let's do it!  [thumbsup]

BTW, I should mention for the record, the condition of my rear tire is not good ;D

I thought the trip home would kill it and man was I right [laugh]  There's a 3" wide flat in the middle.

The sides are still good so maybe ill use it at the track, but I think turn in may suffer some [laugh]

For that I'd probably truck the bike up though.
At worst the bike could get screwed up and I'd have no way to get home if I had ridden it there.
At best I completely trash a set of tires and I'd really enjoy not having to hold back anything in the interest of saving tires.

My rear is done, game over. Between two Deal's Gap trips and this one, it didn't have a chance.

I was thinking the same.

I don't mind riding up there, but if we do a track day there's always the chance the bike ends up as parts in a box and I like not walking 600 miles home.

Side note: I wonder how long that would take.

Id probably trailer it up.  If you chip in for fuel I can swing by and get you.  There's plenty of room on the trailer.

That'd work for me.  [thumbsup]

The only thing I'm lacking to be able to do this is lack of track worthy leathers.
I don't know if I can swing getting any in the short term, how much do a basic no-frills set go for?

$500 or less for something brand name.  I think I paid $600 for my 2pc teknic suit.  You can find closeouts and what not at sportbiketrackgear or newenough for probably $350 if you keep you eyes open.

If you couldn't find anything between now and then I have a 1pc set that would probably fit you ok.  Just don't put your knee down cause there's no sliders on them ;D
