wait...i'm still not clear about something.  you deodorize your helmet?  wtf man?

after cleaning put it on something with air flow to dry it out.

once dry, close the lid, and set it on a table with a "tree" underneath it to deodorize it.  let it air out for a day so the tree doesn't choke you.

also, you can put a cup of vinegar (don't pour it) just put the helmet over the cup.  vinegar acid will kill most of the smell.  air out for a day.

helmet can last a long time.
