...since there's no movie night & no ride on Sunday there's not much point in making a trip to ABQ. Next time.

It's not personal Scott #2...I promise.   Maybe you can rework things to meet us on Saturday.  Fingers crossed.

OK....so far we have a pretty good group ready to ride Saturday morning.  That group consists of JJ, Karl (with or without passenger remains to be seen), Krystle, Jason, and me.  That's five.  Where's Matt?  Working on MD Weekend?  Surely not!  How about Zambello?  Stuart?  Rosemary?  Godec?  Wayne?  King?  Ed?  Tara?  Jim?  Jonesy?  Gotta be more of you freaks down for a holiday weekend ride!!!

Now, we've decided to meet at Starbucks in Bernalillo.  OK...Check.  Now, what time.  I'd vote for an early departure, mostly to avoid some of the heat of the afternoon (though it shouldn't be terribly hot) and the wind that we're supposed to get in the afternoon (which I personally hate).  How about 8:00 am?

That should put us in Taos before lunchtime, and home around mid-afternoon unless we decide to hit part of 64 or something.  Maybe do 64 to Angel Fire, then go down through Mora and back home?  There's a big (I think they're expecting 30k) bike rally at Red River this weekend, so I definitely DON'T want to go there!

Thoughts?

First off...as you well know it is against my nature to race anyone  ;D They held us up for the most part since they had a hard time passing slowpokes in front of them ;D they waived us by at one point since we were tailgating them.
That 'German junk' was doing OK on the open road but had no chance when it came to acceleration, passing and cornering  ;D
Hope we get to  [Dolph] again soon [thumbsup]
Almost forgot the highpoint.....they managed to piss off a lowrider [thumbsup]
