Hey gang, with any luck I'll be picking up a 2000 m750 this weekend and thought that I'd stop lurking and say hello for reals. The basics...

Jared
Milton, WV
Currently own a 1975 RD 350 (under the knife right now), 2003 KTM 300exc.
12 years on road going bikes, 23 on dirt

I like tinkering around with bikes and making them my own. The RD is in the middle of a frame up cafe job, and I'm picking up the monster to have something nice to ride on the regular. I have a funny feeling that the mod bug will bite pretty quickly though... Otherwise, when the trails dry I love hitting the singletrack, either with the katoom or mountain bike, and just playing around outside in general. I'm also a bit of book nerd, but keep that one kinda on the down low, WV has a reputation to uphold.

Cheers guys.

Hello hello,

So per his usual pilot fails to point local, or close to its to CAM. CAM is the local area section for the DC+ metro area:

It's a pretty active area - so drop in and say hey. Having a WV 'expert' would be nice. There's some regular shenanigans in Bowie - but folks head west as well too.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

pilot- ever hand out on the two stroke forums? i dab a little over there too.

panda- thanks, DC metro is a bit of a stretch for me, I'm over on the west coast of WV. That said, work induces driving all over this great state of mine, so I spend a lot of time in a F150 thinking "Gee this would be a great road... on a bike".

RD350s are awesome. Welcome to the forum. Please post some pics of your Duc when you get it.

Oh I know - but I think we might be the closest local section to you. I could be wrong - might be the Ohio gang... but there's regular sorties into eastern WVA at least

enderwaves, I haven't visited the two stroke forum really.  Maybe I should.
