Its tragic when any motorcyclist is killed - even when its their own foolish fault. 

And so when I laugh.... understand that I'm not laughing at the unfortunate death of the unhelmeted protester.  That's sad indeed.

I have to say I was astounded a few years back while driving through New Hampshire and Massachusetts heading to Boston and saw a pair of un-helmeted lasses lane splitting like they were in a Hollywood film at well over 120k's wearing singlets and bandanas......

My eyes fell out out of my head. But then the New Hampshire number plate does say
"live free of die"
