Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

Nobody lost 14lbs yet? I figured someone would have by now.

I have not stepped on the scale since the start date but I feel better so I guess it is working.

I'm down 7-8. But I have been holding steady from not running for 2.5 weeks and i think i might be building upper body muscle from the pushups and stuff I started doing.

Every time I carry my crosscut out of the garage, I can hear my two Husqvarna Chainsaws whimpering in the back of the garage like a pair of beagles being left behind when their master is going out hunting.

I'm doing about 2.6lbs/week ... so,I might have lost 11lbs ... but, I though at the beginign I was at 195lbs not the 200lbs I weighted ...so I'm sort of there but, this job, eating out, eating out of regular hours ... messes up things a bit

Vacation this week with my parents has definitely put me behind the curve...

All we seem to do is eat, drink, relax a bit, then start eating again!   [laugh] :-\ :P

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I was going to propose a change of name to " THE HAMMOCK SACK OF POTATOES GET FIT THREAD", seems like many many members spend a lot of time in hammocks ;D

That was breakfast.

Fish-n-chips for lunch.

Big supper planned... Fish stew, crab, lobster, clams, mussels, and pasta!

Oh, and dessert... LOTS of dessert!  ;D

AJ

Ahem

And me - I got some quality hammock time over my extra-long holiday weekend, the hammock was surrounded by aspens and had a view of the Rockies
[thumbsup]

The whole moving my apartment by myself thing had been a ridiculous workout (how the hell do I have this many books/assorted heavy things?), but I have no idea which box my scale is in.  And I've been eating like a champ throughout, so progress may be minimal.
:-\

At least unpacking will continue the exercise :)

TBJ, you're making me hungry over here :P

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

I knew AJ would chime in as soon as the word "hammock" was mentioned... [laugh]

Ya, we're leaving SB tomorrow morning, because my parents fly outta Burbank at 7am on Saturday. It's only 1/2 hour drive from my place, but almost two from SB.

Sooo, we're having the "Final Fish Feast" tonight. :)

Mmm... Yummy!!!

Thanks for the post.  I've been doing a pile of independent research and empirical testing on myself to find cause and effect.  It looks like the added muscle mass is finally having a stabilizing effect on blood sugar again.  I just don't know why it got out of wack the last 6 months.

One more thought regarding blood work.

about 8 years ago the healthy range for thyroid was changed. Many people who would have tested in the normal range at that time would now test positive for hypothyroidism. The problem is, most doctors are still using the old range.

Why?........ the simple answer.......most doctors suck.

Just a thought as to something you may want to look into.
