I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

here is my post about MB ssk's. I wiki'd it so that you may look into this phenomanl car at length. For all of you speed freaks admirers of beautiful things, this is truly one of man's most inspiring creations.
Now before you read the info my grandfather had an SSK which was The Alpine Rally winner in 1929. So what I hear you say......Well once you read the info below you'll understand why my quest to find out what happened to it is a personal crusade. He had the car stolen by the nazi party in the late 1930's , he was jewish. This car is very rare, not sure if it still exists. It did not run when it was taken by the party as spare parts were simply not available to him as he was jewish. It was in his garage in Berlin. My grandparents quickly left and put their children on a kindertransport train to England. Several months passed before the family was reunited in London, the children living as refugees in an orphanage in east London not knowing what had happened to their parents.Anyway, I have been in touch with MB and they cannot find any records surviving for the cars and who they were sold to. The SSK register have been no help as of yet and I am awaiting a reply. These cars are worth millions of dollars and so anyone who possibly has my grandfathers car is not going to voluntarily give it up or probably even admit to owning it. These are the rarest of the rare when it comes to cars, only 40 or so made  and only a handful of complete expamples left. Perhaps the car was lost in the extensive bombing of Berlin by the allies in ww2. Anyway.....here is the linky.....

What kind of tires are those?

Looks like it says "Pirelli" on the sidewall.  Most likely a one-off for this ride, which looks pretty badass.  [thumbsup]

My '67 Cougar appears earlier in this thread, but this is the Cougar Holy Grail: The 1968 GT-E.

Powered by the mighty 427, the last appearance of this engine in a Ford product, supplanted by the 428CJ. Only 358 built. The carbon copy of the car pictured is on eBay now.

I would give my left nut for this car. Possibly the right also.

It might be easier to date a cougar; that way she can take care of your nuts.  ;D

Depending on the cougar, I might prefer the car.  ;D
