Im from Chicago and new to the forum and it is quite impressive. I just picked up a 2005 Monster 620 Dark with 5k Miles and Carbon Fiber exhaust.  I've been wanting a Monster since I saw my first Monster outside a bar in Austrailia in 2001 and thought "Holy Shit what is this beautiful thing". This is truly the bike of my dreams and it handles amazingly. I havent had a bike in about 18 years and I'm now totally obsessed with this bike and all things Ducati. Glad to see theres a forum like this that makes owning a Monster so much easier and enjoyable. Completed my first oil change and now I want to do a complete tail chop. Its already got a modified tail but I'd like to go completely assless on this baby. Looking forward to seeing everyones bikes, mods and suggestions on this forum.

Jimmy out of Austin, TX..can't remember his screen name..did a complete chop job on his bike.  It has one of those large seats from a vintage bike on it.  Is that the type of mod you're thinking of making?
